Custom Orders

If you would like a Custom Order, reach out to me through the contact page.

Here's some info you may provide that would make getting started a little easier for me:

  1. Detailed Description of what you would like. What type of item, desired colors or materials, inspirations and references, etc. Anything to help me get an idea of what you'd like.
    • *Note: I will not directly copy or reproduce another artist's work or pre-existing item, but may make something inspired by it.
    • For example, if you want a standard chainmail coif, or one with your or my own design ideas that's perfectly fine. If you want me to reproduce a specific, non-standard chainmail coif another artist made, that's no good.

  2. Budget or rough estimate of what you can afford for the item, if necessary. I want to work with you to make this possible, and while there are certain material costs or time commitments to consider, I try to be flexible based on what you can afford. You can look to previous items I've made to get an idea of pricing.

  3. Shipping Information including name of addressee as it will appear on the shipping label. I will only be shipping orders, no in-person meetings or deliveries.

  4. Deadline of any sort that you'd like me to stick to. Depeding on when you reach out to me or how long it takes to finalize payment, it may not be possible to strictly adhere to it, but I will try my absolute best to do so and be transparent about what I can realistically accomplish.

Once I have received the initial message, I will respond as soon as possible with any questions or confirmations. After that, I will send a payable invoice either for the full amount, or only a portion as a deposit (for larger orders).

Invoices must be paid before I start working. The deposit for larger orders is refundable at any time before I have finished the item if I am unable to complete the order.

Deposit is nonrefundable if:

  • Materials have already been ordered
  • I have already started working (used time, labor, and material toward the project)
  • You decide to cancel the order after the item has already been completed to agreed-upon specifications*

* Changes/suggestions are of course welcome within reason at any step of the process, and I will typically keep you updated and ask for feedback on progress.

If you decide to cancel the custom order after I have finished the product to initial specifications or after several alterations by request, I will not refund the deposit.

If a store order is made along with a custom order, combined shipping may be possible by request. If it is not specifically requested, they will be treated as separate orders due to differences in processing time and method.
